DISCLAIMER
[nom du jeu] is a game about counterculture, rebellion and marginalization. The analogy of being a monster hated by everyday society is a bit hamfisted, but that’s the point.
[nom du jeu] is about uplifting the disenfranchised and pushing back oppressors and colonizers. It’s queer and POC friendly, antifascist, and unapologetic in its anger.
If you fall anywhere outside of these attitudes, fuck you and don’t play this game.
POWER DIE
Every kindred has a Power Die that they use to fuel their unnatural powers. It decreases with use like a Usage Die, but doesn’t naturally degrade.
If the Power Die is ever reduced to 0, a character can not use Powers until it’s restored. Each kindred has a different method for restoring their Power Die one or more steps at the CP’s discretion, depending on the “severity” and risk of the act.
For example, a vampire feeding on a cow may just restore their Power one step, but draining a whole nightclub dry could restore it to its full amount.
EDGES
Edges are a kindred’s supernatural powers that give them an “edge up” against humanity.
To use an Edge, first test the stat that corresponds with what you are attempting to do, then roll the character’s Power Die to see if it decreases. Reactive Edges can be triggered even it isn’t the player’s turn and count as a free action.
Players are encouraged to be creative with how they use their Edges by making them stronger, altering their effects, etc. Depending on the effect’s power, tests can be at a Disadvantage.
If a roll of 20 is made while using an Edge, it temporarily stops working, has the opposite effect, targets an ally, or a similar effect.

If a person dies with unfinished business, they may return as a psychokinetic impression - AKA a ghost. Most ghosts are hung up on the past, and only a few travel far from their fetters.
STARTING STATS
Starting HP: 1d6+4
HP Per Level: 1d6
Nature: Unliving
Attack Damage: 1d6/1d4 Unarmed or Improvised
EDGES
You start with the Incorporeal Edge and a Power Die of d4. Your die is restored after causing fear via touch.
SPECIAL FEATURES
Beyond the Door: You are naturally semi-transparent and incorporeal. Using the Incorporeal Edge has the opposite effect on you.
Ectoplasmic: Roll with Advantage on FLE tests to resist paralysis and petrification.
DRAWBACKS
Salt Allergy: You take an extra die of damage from salt when it’s used as a weapon or 1d6 damage if it’s touched.
Fetter: You have an object or place that anchors you to life. If it is destroyed or exorcised, you must make a GUT test to bind to a new fetter or be banished to the Skinlands forever.
LEVELING UP
Roll to see if stats increase, roll twice for GUT and a stat of your choice. Gain an Edge of your choice or increase your Power Die a step (max. d20).
